Merlin MS Centre

Merlin MS Centre in Cornwall sent us a lovely update with some great pictures showing the various services they are providing to people with neurological conditions who live in the county.

Being diagnosed with a neurological condition brings many challenges for the individual and their family and friends but Merlin are there to provide support as well as various therapies, exercise classes, day respite, community transport and information and advice.

Merlin’s purpose-built therapy facility in mid Cornwall is the only one of its kind in that part of the country and they currently have more than 150 people accessing services every week, with numbers expected to rise as they get back to full strength following the pandemic.

Our grant towards running costs will help them to continue to support existing as well as new service users and enable them to keep doing the wonderful work they do. 85% of their beneficiaries said in recent survey that they had ‘improved health and mobility’ as a result of being able to access services at the Centre which is excellent news.
