ESTEEM

Caroline, our Operations Director, enjoyed a visit to ESTEEM recently where she saw first-hand the work they are doing with vulnerable young adults. Based in Sussex, the charity is currently working with more than 160 young people (aged 14-26) annually. ESTEEM support young people to make lasting changes to how they see themselves, their own community and their place in it, as well as in wider society. This is done through empowerment, with youth led projects, vocational work experience, social activities, wellbeing sessions and counselling and through ESTEEM just simply being there to provide a space where people feel safe and involved. The charity believe that with trust and support every young person can flourish. Our grant towards its operating costs over the next couple of years will hopefully help to make this a reality for many.
